Booking and enquiry data you give us: name, email address, phone number (optional), the cottage and dates, number of guests, any message and any discount code.

Technical preferences stored in your browser: your language and season choice and your cookie consent. These stay on your device and are not sent to us as identifiers.

Handling your booking and the related payment — legal basis: performance of a contract. Answering enquiries — our legitimate interest in serving guests. Loading analytics or embedded maps — your consent. Bookkeeping obligations — legal obligation.

Card payments will be handled by Visma Payments Oy (Vismapay), which acts as the payment service provider. Your card details are entered on Vismapay's secured service and are never stored on our servers.

We share data only as needed to run the service: Visma Payments Oy (payments), Lomarengas (booking channel, where a cottage is sold through it), and our hosting and database provider. Processors act on our instructions under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data or transfer it outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards.

Booking records are kept as long as needed to deliver the stay and to meet accounting obligations (in Finland generally up to the statutory bookkeeping period of [RETENTION]). Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they are no longer needed.

You have the right to access your data and to have it rectified or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these, contact [DATA EMAIL]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
